Establishment
AdvancedUAV was established in Calgary, Alberta. Launched industrial drone services, providing UAV-based inspection and data acquisition for various industries.
Drone Light Show Development
Independently designed and produced 40 drone light show UAVs, establishing expertise in swarm flight technology.
First Made-in-Canada Agri Drone
Designed and manufactured Canada’s first domestically produced agricultural UAV, A70, advancing precision farming solutions. The debut of the A70 marks a significant step forward for Canada’s drone industry, creating new opportunities and diversifying a market that has traditionally been heavily led by DJI.
A70 Registered with Transport Canada
We submitted a drone safety assurance declaration for A70, and Transport Canada approved it. This means any pilot with an adequate drone pilot certificate could use A70 in their advanced or Level 1 Complex operations without having to apply for a Special Flight Operations Certificate (SFOC) every time.
